Online Stopwatch, Timer & Pomodoro

A precise stopwatch with laps, a countdown timer with alarm, and a classic 25/5 Pomodoro focus timer — all in one page, no app needed.

Three timers, three jobs

The stopwatch measures elapsed time with lap splits — practice runs, speeches, cooking steps. The timer counts down from any number of minutes and beeps — perfect for exams practice with our Likhit mock (30 minutes) or study blocks from your study timetable. The Pomodorocycles 25-minute focus blocks and breaks automatically, counting completed pomodoros so you can see a session’s real output.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Pomodoro technique?

Work in focused 25-minute blocks (pomodoros) separated by 5-minute breaks; after four blocks, take a longer 15-minute break. The fixed rhythm fights procrastination because you only commit to 25 minutes at a time, and the breaks prevent burnout during long study sessions.

Will the timer keep running if I switch tabs?

Yes — it tracks the real end time, so returning to the tab shows the correct remaining time and the beep still fires. Closing the tab stops everything (nothing runs in the background after that).

How accurate is the stopwatch?

It uses the browser's high-resolution monotonic clock (performance.now), accurate to well under a millisecond — the display shows hundredths.

Why did I not hear the alarm?

Browsers only allow sound after you've interacted with the page — pressing Start counts, so normally it works. Check your device isn't muted; the beep is generated locally (no audio file to fail loading).
