Why there’s no template library
The famous templates are copyrighted stills, and rehosting them is legally murky — we’d rather build tools we can stand behind. Upload your own screenshots and photos (crop them first with the Image Cropper if needed) and the editor does the rest.

Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. The editor runs entirely in your browser — your image, text and the final meme never leave your device. That also makes it fast and usable offline once the page has loaded.
Can I write memes in Nepali?
Yes — switch the font to नेपाली (Devanagari) and type normally. Devanagari renders correctly with the bundled Noto Sans Devanagari font, which most global meme tools get wrong. Type Nepali with our Nepali Unicode tool and paste it in if your keyboard doesn't support it.
How do I get the classic meme text look?
It's the default: the Anton font (the standard web substitute for Impact) in white with a black outline. You can change the fill and outline colours per text box from the toolbar.
Why don't you have the famous meme templates (Drake, Distracted Boyfriend…)?
Those template images are copyrighted stills from films, TV and stock photos. Rather than rehost them, this tool works with your own images and blank layouts — upload any picture you have the right to use and meme it.
What resolution is the downloaded meme?
The editor shows a screen-fitted preview, but the download re-renders at your image's original resolution (up to 1600px on the long edge), so text stays sharp when shared.
How do I share directly to Messenger, TikTok or Instagram?
On phones, the Share button opens your system share sheet with the finished PNG — pick any app. On desktop browsers without share support, the button downloads the file instead.
