How to check an IPO result in Nepal
- Open the official CDSC IPO Result website using the button above.
- Select the company whose allotment result has been published.
- Enter your 16-digit Demat BOID and complete the security check.
- Read the official allotted or not-allotted response from CDSC.
Your BOID identifies your Demat account. Tools Pasal deliberately does not provide a BOID input, proxy the request or store the result. This keeps the personal lookup between you and CDSC.
Open, approved and pipeline are different
| Status | What it means | Can you apply? |
|---|---|---|
| Open on CDSC | Official opening and closing dates are active | Yes, for the eligible group |
| SEBON approved | The issue is approved but dates may not be announced | Not until the opening notice |
| SEBON pipeline | The company has applied and is under review | No |
| Result published | Allotment is complete and CDSC has enabled lookup | Application period is over |
Understanding the live subscription numbers
CDSC’s Current Issue Update can show issue units, number of applications, total units applied and applied amount. Tools Pasal calculates the displayed subscription multiple by dividing applied units by issued units. A value of 10× means investors have requested ten times the available units shown in that row.
This ratio is not your probability of receiving shares. Reserved groups, invalid applications, minimum lots and the official allotment procedure affect the final result.
Official sources & disclaimer
Live records can change and official notices remain authoritative. Confirm eligibility, issue price, dates and application category in the prospectus or issue-manager notice. This page is information, not investment advice.
Frequently asked questions
Can I check my IPO result directly on Tools Pasal?
Tools Pasal does not collect BOID numbers. Use the official CDSC button, select the company and enter your 16-digit BOID only on iporesult.cdsc.com.np.
Where do the open and close dates come from?
Current issue dates and subscription figures come from CDSC's official Current Issue Update table. The page shows when that source was last refreshed.
Does SEBON approval mean an IPO will open immediately?
No. Approval means the securities issue has been approved, but the company and issue manager still need to publish an opening notice and exact dates.
What does IPO pipeline mean?
The pipeline is SEBON's application list. A company in the pipeline has applied for approval; it is not yet an open IPO and may still need documents, comments or compliance work.
How is the subscription ratio calculated?
It is the total applied units divided by the issued units shown by CDSC. The figure changes as more applications are submitted and is not an allotment probability.
