Process
1. Step-by-step PSC online application process
- 1
Read the official advertisement first
Do not start from the form. Start from the PSC notice so you know whether you are eligible by age, education, inclusion group, experience and deadline.
- 2
Create or update your PSC Online profile
Use the official PSC Online portal. Fill personal, contact, education and document details from original records, not from memory.
- 3
Choose the correct advertisement
Match advertisement number, service, group, level, category and exam centre carefully. A wrong selection can waste the fee or make the application invalid.
- 4
Upload documents and photo/signature
Use clear scans. If the portal rejects a file, resize or re-scan it instead of uploading unreadable images.
- 5
Pay the exam fee and save proof
Pay only through the method shown by the official system. Save or print the payment reference, application confirmation and deadline information.
- 6
Download admit card before the exam
When the admit card is available, print or save it early. Check name, advertisement number, roll number, centre and exam date.
- 7
After exam, estimate score carefully
Use the Loksewa Score Calculator for objective-paper self-checking, especially when negative marking applies in the syllabus or notice.
Field guide
2. What information the PSC form usually asks
The exact portal labels can change, but most applications follow the same structure: profile, qualification, advertisement selection, upload, payment and admit-card download.
Use the labels currently shown on PSC Online; this guide explains what to prepare, not a substitute form.
Enter the spelling used on citizenship, academic certificates and other official documents.
Use the portal's requested calendar/format. Check BS and AD conversions before saving.
Copy certificate number, issue district and issue date exactly from the original.
Use numbers/accounts you control because login, notices or recovery may depend on them.
Never share OTP, password or recovery code with a form-filling shop or third party. After submission
3. Confirmation, admit card and exam-day checklist
- Save the application confirmation immediately after submission.
- Keep fee-payment proof until the application is accepted and admit card is available.
- Print/download the admit card early; do not wait for exam morning.
- Check roll number, advertisement number, exam centre and exam date.
- Carry the identity document and materials allowed by the PSC notice.
- Do not rely on social-media screenshots for exam date, centre or postponement notices.
After exam
4. Estimate marks with Loksewa Score Calculator
After an objective paper, many candidates want a quick pass-margin idea. Use the calculator only for self-estimation. PSC results, answer keys and cut-off decisions remain official.
Avoid mistakes
5. Common Loksewa online-form mistakes
- Applying without reading the full advertisement and syllabus.
- Selecting the wrong advertisement number, service group or inclusion category.
- Using a different name spelling across citizenship and academic records.
- Uploading blurred photo, signature or certificate scans.
- Paying through unofficial agents or sharing OTP/password.
- Forgetting to download the admit card before the exam.
